About the event
Join us in a collaboration between Yawning Puppies Production, Contemplate Studios & ISAL to bring 2 Rupee Cycle to the big screen. This is a thoroughly rooted story, as it's shot in both a local village called 'Nagaral' in Karnataka, India and the timeless greenlands across Leuven, Belgium - making it an Indo-European tale.
Our efforts have been geared towards crafting an experience which is bound to immerse you, and take you right to the innocence & simplicity in the village. This is the telling of a story that will tug on your heart-strings, and bring a wide smile on your faces.
Why a fundraiser? The funds would be personally and directly transferred to the people in the village by Pavan - the writer/director/producer of this short film, who also hails from Karnataka, India. This is a unique take in an initiative for providing financial help to those who need…
